Ornella Orlandini (1980) has a degree in educational sciences from the university of Turin (IT), with a thesis in anthropology, and is currently studying and practising shamanism. She is a photographer who focuses her artistic research on the themes of the development of the Self, related to the environment and Nature.

Her research is connected to her personal journey of self-awareness and feminine awareness and adopts a performative method: she integrates theoretical research into themes with practical experiential exploration. Her photographic works result from her artistic process, which includes intimate performances and self-portraiture.

She is currently working on a trilogy on consciousness, from a feminine perspective, through which she investigates possible ways for a renewed harmonious relationship with Nature.
